ABOUT

In the mid-1960s and early 1970s, the Concert Series featured now-legendary performers such as Buddy Guy, Janis Joplin, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Richie Havens, Odetta, Gordon Lightfoot, and the MC5. More recently, the Series has featured regional acts, student and faculty ensembles, and internationally known artists drawing from jazz, folk, contemporary classical, electronic music, and improvised music traditions. Artists such as Pauline Olveros, Steve Swell, Henry Grimes, Billy Bang, Oliver Lake, Faruq Z. Bey and Peter Kowald represent a small sample of the outstanding musicians recently hosted at Canterbury House.

PARKING

Please allow time to locate street parking (which is free after 6pm on nearby streets) or park at the Thayer Street Parking Structure, which is at 300 South Thayer Street, just one block from Canterbury House.
