SOUND & SILENCE
Tuesdays 7 pm
Free Dinner to Follow
The concept is simple: An hour of silence, punctuated by music. This is not a concert and it is not a religious service. All are welcome to come and experience the peace of time set aside for whatever it is you need.
“I witnessed firsthand how it became an anchor in the week for many people who would otherwise not have had something that spoke to them. That, more than anything, is the beauty of Sound & Silence.” - Roscoe Emrys Grey, S&S attendee

EVENING PRAYER
Wednesdays 5:15 pm
Come breathe, pray, reflect, and then stay around the table for a home-cooked meal and conversation. You don’t need to be Episcopalian—or know anything about prayer—to join us. Just show up.

SHEET CAKE SUNDAYS
Sundays 2-4 pm
Something good happened this week. Let’s celebrate it.
Big wins, tiny victories, surviving a difficult week, finally doing your laundry—we think it all deserves cake. Drop into Canterbury on Sundays for sheet cake, coffee, and a chance to celebrate something good from your week with other students.

JAM NIGHTS
Alternating Fridays 8 pm
Bring your musical instrument and join the community in making music. Or, come to listen as new collaborations and once-in-a-lifetime combinations are forged in the power of an epic jam session.

CONCERT SERIES
Alternating Fridays 7 pm
A curated series of performances from the best and brightest of the Ann Arbor up-and-coming music scene. Join us as we hear new voices and experience new sounds - something different every time. See event calendar for details of each week’s artist.

NO-STRINGS SUPPERS
The table is set - all are welcome to join us for a free meal and community every Tuesday and Wednesday evening. An opportunity to connect: truly no strings and no expectations. Vegan and vegetarian options available. Please let us know if you have other dietary restrictions.

SACRED SATURDAYS
Saturdays 11 am - 3 pm
Sacred Saturdays are a low-pressure, drop-in space to slow down after a busy week. Grab some coffee, settle into the House, journal, read, create something, or simply sit for a while. There’s no agenda and nothing you need to accomplish. Come for ten minutes or stay awhile.
