Canterbury House is the primary contact at the University of Michigan for Episcopal students who are away from home and from their home parishes. It is also a place where students who are seekers from other traditions may encounter Anglicanism for the first time, or in a very different way than they have encountered it before.  We reach out primarily to undergraduate and graduate students who seek support, direction and a sense of larger purpose as they prepare for their vocations in the world.

The Canterbury House board has revised the budget for 2008.  Here is the revised budget for 2008 (PDF format).  The proposed budgets for 2009 through 2011 are under construction.  We plan our budget three years ahead.

Yes!  We do have a wish list!

Our congregation is growing; we need new chairs for the main room.  These call for a major gift.

Solemn Evensong calls for some new liturgical furnishings and garments such as cassocks and cottas, candle holders and stands, and new prayerbooks.

We need newer and better cookware and kitchen supplies.
