Canterbury House is the primary contact at the University of Michigan for Episcopal students who are away from home and from their home parishes. It is also a place where students who are seekers from other traditions may encounter Anglicanism for the first time, or in a very different way than they have encountered it before.  We reach out primarily to undergraduate and graduate students who seek support, direction and a sense of larger purpose as they prepare for their vocations in the world.

There are many ways that you can support the mission and ministry of Canterbury House.

If you would like to be on our e-mail list . If you would like to receive our newsletter by snail-mail, contact our office manager, .

Our financial information is available to you:

Here are our financial statements for 2009 (PDF format).  These statements are not audited.

Here is the budget for 2010, including a worksheet for our proposed budgets through 2012.  It's a work in progress; but in the current economic environment the Canterbury House board expects hold expenses flat for 2010-2013 at 2009 levels.

You can make a quick and easy contribution to Canterbury House with your credit card and PayPal.

Yes!  We do have a wish list!

Our congregation is growing; we need new chairs for the main room.  These call for a major gift.

Solemn Evensong calls for some new liturgical furnishings and garments such as cassocks and cottas, candle holders and stands, and new prayerbooks.

We need newer and better cookware and kitchen supplies.

If you would like to help us with a specific gift for any of these items, or if you would like to know some more of our "wishes," do contact our office manager, Kathleen Peabody.
